Under-developed nations tend to be more religious.
Women tend to be more religious.
In the US, the south tends to be more religious.

John Wesley was a big Journaller/Journaler(or?).  He saw it as one of the many roads to Grace; a way in which you could keep track of what you were doing to better yourself and bring yourself closer to God.  I didn't know that.
